Strong on mechanics — genuine anonymity with two-way follow-up is rare and is exactly what the Right to Warn signatories asked for. Legally reinforced by AI Act Article 87, which applies the EU Whistleblower Directive (EU) 2019/1937 to AI Act infringement reporting from 2 August 2026, giving confidentiality and anti-retaliation protection. No outcome data yet; the AI Office's enforcement capacity is unproven.

The AI Office states it maintains a high standard of confidentiality with documented internal procedures to maximise protection of reporter identity.
