Independent product testing plus a policy arm (CR Advocacy) that files regulatory comments, testifies to Congress (including on AI-enabled fraud and scams), surveys consumers on AI, and backs state algorithmic accountability bills such as Washington SB 5116. It publicly backed the Senate vote upholding states' role over AI regulation and raised concerns about the White House AI Action Plan.
