What it does

Future AI Center, supported by a risk management working group and a board-level risk management committee, operates the AI Safety Framework; frontier systems are reassessed every three months or when capability increases 6x.

Honest assessment

No public accounts found of anyone contacting NAVER about HyperCLOVA X safety. NAVER was among the earliest non-US companies to publish a frontier safety framework and extended it in 2026 to user-facing services, so the internal governance is real; but the framework document points an interested outsider at a cloud sales form, which is a telling gap between governance and accessibility.

Notes

Record as: framework published, no public safety channel. If you have a concern, the sales/support form is the only published door and you should expect it to be routed commercially.
