Cross-government citizen consultation platform under MeitY/Digital India Corporation. Used inconsistently for MeitY drafts; hosts discussions, polls, and 'Share your ideas' consultations, including on AI and digital policy.
Honest assessment
Usable and low-friction if a relevant consultation is live, and it is the only Indian route where your submission is publicly visible. But it is not the authoritative channel — for AI policy specifically, the email consultation is where MeitY actually reads submissions. Treat MyGov as supplementary. Do not rely on it as the only place you check for open windows.
Current business
Runs alongside, not instead of, MeitY's email-based consultations. Not every MeitY AI consultation is mirrored here — the 2026 IT Rules AI-labelling consultation ran by email only.
Public route
Register a free account (mobile number or email), then comment on an open 'Discuss' or 'Consultation' task. Comments are public and visible to other users, which is the opposite of MeitY's confidential email route.

Platform existence and function VERIFIED; I deliberately did not verify current MyGov leadership and have marked it UNVERIFIED rather than guess. MyGov's role relative to MeitY email consultations is inferred from the observed pattern that the April 2026 IT Rules consultation used email only.
