Any individual may register once and file a formal position letter (Support / Oppose / Amend) on any bill through the Legislature's Advocates portal; the letter is entered into the committee's official bill file and summarized in the committee analysis. Deadline convention for this committee: 12:00 noon on the Tuesday one week before the Tuesday hearing. Written testimony submitted this way is public comment and may be read into the record. In-person testimony at the hearing is open (two primary witnesses per side plus an open 'me-too' line); telephonic testimony has been discontinued.
